This project involved the renovation of a tunnel manhole cover. The original tunnel had a double-layer cover equipped with an electronic smart lock. However, due to the high electrical malfunction of the smart lock, technical discussions led to the decision to replace it with a hydraulic cover. Hydraulic covers have fewer electrical control nodes and a lower failure rate. Furthermore, the cover is easy to open, eliminating the need for manual handling and resetting. Considering the aesthetics of the equipment, the exterior of the cover was paved with green paving, while the interior incorporates a power-assisted mechanism, allowing the cover to be opened for escape in the event of a power outage. The client was highly satisfied with the bid for the renovation.
